Spinster Books opened on May 1st, 2015.

We survived new business bumps-in-the-road and the 2020-2022 COVID disaster and have not regretted a single day of our crazy idea to open a bookstore. We love introducing people to unfamiliar authors and showcasing our local writers.

We like to have fun events and support the fight against banned & challenged books.
